Happy Sunday friends, and more importantly, happy summer! Although we’re still not fully in full-on warmth and sunshine all-the-time territory, it’s June and it feels as if we’ve finally crossed the finish line after a very long, slow race. I don’t know about you, but I jam-pack as much sunshine and adventure into the next three months as possible in order to make the most of all that is a New England summer. And all these plans are accompanied by the need to revamp the summer wardrobe, so I’m here to provide you with a few of my recent favorite summertime finds so that we can all be dressed to impress this season. And the best part is, most of these are small businesses run by some really awesome people who we can feel great about supporting!
Ivory Belle. This adorable online shop is has it all, and I’m not joking when I say that I received upwards of 10 compliments – most of which were from strangers – the first time I wore a sweater from there! There are so many cute summertime options and I was so impressed with the quality. And clearly the people love it! Use EMMAGRESH10 for 10% off your order 🙂
No Rest for Bridget. Boston friends, this is my favorite boutique in town and makes up a solid 50% of my wardrobe, and luckily, they also have an online store! They know me by name here because I pop in so often, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Take a look, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
FashionPass, also known as my newly discovered saving grace. A monthly membership gets two orders of five pieces of clothing plus an accessory from brands like Amanda Uprichard, For Love & Lemons, LoveShackFancy and more. It’s sustainable, and so helpful for when you need a few fun statement pieces that you’ll likely never wear again. Plus, it’s your chance to get some pretty darn pricey items that you’d never be able to wear otherwise – and the code SUNSHINE30 will give you $30 off your first month!
Now, as much as I love all these finds, I’m also a big believer that all the best days feature some more comfy casual picks. Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered there, too.
Find the Good. I’m absolutely obsessed with everything about this brand – they are obviously right up my alley, focused on promoting finding the good in life, and they have such a cute assortment of all things comfy. I’m not exaggerating when I say that my hoodie is the best sweatshirt I’ve ever bought, and the best part is they donate 10% of profits to Mental Health America. Use code SUNSHINE for 10% off 🙂
Sunkissed Coconut. Last but not least, I’ve been obsessed for a while now with this aesthetically pleasing t-shirt company, so imagine my delight when I found the cutest bathing suit there for the season!
That’s all for today, folks! I hope you found some inspiration for a stylish, sunshine-filled summer – in a world so focused on consuming, let’s try and shop small or sustainable where we can. To sunnier days ahead. ☼
