Happy Monday friends! I, like most everyone in the entire universe, typically dread Mondays for the obvious reasons. But I have to say that I’m starting to almost look forward to Mondays for the structure and sense of purpose they bring.
Yes, you probably have to set an alarm and yes, you’re also probably expected to actually be productive, but maybe that’s not such a bad thing. Whether work, school, or a whole lot of nothing is on the docket this week, we can all try to look at it as the fresh start we may not have even known we needed.
I also have to say that I’m a girl who loves a routine, and since weekends these days are predictably unpredictable, I love getting back into the swing of things on Monday mornings. Maybe that means going for a walk or getting a workout bright and early, or having a nice cup of tea on the couch while watching the news. For me, it meant waking up early to do some yoga and write this very post (coffee in hand, of course)!
That brings me to my last perk — Monday is an excuse to drink all the caffeine we want. Something has to fuel us through the week, so grab an extra iced latte and use that fuel to kill it in whatever you’ve got going on.
