Happy Thanksgiving friends!! I’m writing this with 1/3 Thanksgiving celebrations complete, on my way to Connecticut to see family and eat my heart out. I’m feeling extra grateful this year, and in the spirit of spreading some sunshine, I figured I would write down a few things big and small that are making my heart feel full.
This year has felt a little more tumultuous than most, so a lot of what I’m thankful for is pretty basic. I’m thankful for my health, and the health of all my loved ones. I’m thankful for a happy relationship and my closest of friends. I’m thankful for a new job opportunity I’m excited about. I’m thankful for my little animals I love so much. I’m thankful to be feeling good on my runs again. I’m thankful for my home in Boston that allows me to see my family all over New England. I’m thankful for this community where I feel comfortable enough to express myself and inspired to focus on the positives. I’m thankful for some time off to relax and enjoy time with the people I love. And I’m certainly thankful for yummy Thanksgiving food!
So here’s a big thank you to all the people in my life who make it feel extra full. No matter what your holiday looks like this year, I hope you’re able to find a few things to feel grateful for too, and that you can spend it with people you love. Here’s to full hearts AND full stomachs – happy Thanksgiving! ☼
